Take a look

The New Building

Sixteen acres on Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell. A full sanctuary, a dedicated space for kids with its own auditorium and a classroom for every grade, and room for students, families, and everything in between.

We have not crossed over yet

Project SOAR 3.0

Here is the honest part. We have keys to a building. We have not finished the work.

Project SOAR 3.0 is what turns an empty building into a church. Every seat, every classroom, every camera and speaker and sign in these photos came from somebody deciding this was worth their giving.

None of this was our doing. God said He would bring us through, and He did it through a church that gave for fourteen years without ever having a room to call its own. If that has been you, thank you. If you have been waiting for the right moment to step in, this is it.

Every gift goes directly into finishing & furnishing the new building.

How we got here

Seven Homes. Fourteen Years.

Eagles Nest started in a hotel meeting room in 2012 with folding chairs and a rolling cart. Since then we have met in a go kart venue, a storefront, a family center, a high school auditorium, and a gym. Never a building of our own. Here is every room that got us to this one.

The room we rented

Our first Sundays

We set up in a hotel with no idea whether two hundred people were going to walk in or twenty.

Either number was fine. This was about God’s kingdom, not about the man standing at the front of the room, and that got settled before the first Sunday ever happened.

Not exactly a sanctuary

Church happened anyway

We outgrew the hotel and moved into a racing venue. Bigger room, still not ours.

People pulled into that parking lot not knowing whether they were showing up for church or to drive go karts. It did not matter. God was driving us somewhere, and that was enough to keep going.

Hands up at Mansell

Our first real address. Somewhere people could find on a map instead of a room we borrowed on Sunday mornings.

This is where we saw serious growth and started laying the foundation of who we would become. By the time we left, God had expanded us past the walls.

A bigger room, filling up

A bigger room for a bigger church. Some of our strongest seasons of growth happened here.

For the first time we had the space to actually expand and do the things we had been trying to do for years with nowhere to put them.

A borrowed room again

Built from scratch every Sunday

The move was abrupt, but we made it happen. We had not been in a home of our own since 50 Mansell, and the auditorium did not change that.

So we built on the rock instead. We stayed focused on Jesus and got used to what the season required, because this church was never about the building we were in. It was about the people we were serving.

Next door, for now

The last stretch

The gym came out of nowhere. The auditorium went under renovation, so we moved next door and kept going.

It was never meant to be home. It was the water we walked through on the way to the other side.

Home

Sixteen acres across the street. A building with our name on it and a room nobody has to tear down on Sunday afternoon.

Doors open September 6 at 9:30 and 11:30am. This stone is still being set, and you get to be here when it is.

What is coming up

Before the Doors Open

Two chances to walk through the building early, a week of prayer, and then our first Sunday. All of it is open to guests.

  • Sun, Aug 9
    Open House

Start at the high school for the 9:30 or 11:30 service, then head over to 2342 Holcomb Bridge Road to walk the new building. Bring your family, take your time, ask us anything. You do not have to attend Eagles Nest to come.

  • Sun, Aug 16
    Open House

Same order as the week before: service at the high school, then the new building. If August 9 does not work, come to this one.

Coming to an open house? Let us know which Sunday so we have enough people on hand to walk you through it properly.

  • Mon, Aug 31 – Fri, Sep 4
    Church-Wide Fast

Five days where we set aside food and distraction and pray together as one church family before we walk through the doors. A daily prayer focus and simple guidance will be shared beforehand. Anyone can take part.

  • Wed, Sep 2
Prayer Walk & Night of Worship

At the new building. We walk it room by room and pray over every space before a single service happens in it, then worship together on the new ground.

  • Sun, Sep 6 · 9:30 & 11:30am
    Launch Sunday

Our first two services at 2342 Holcomb Bridge Road. Labor Day weekend. Doors open early, kids and student ministry are running, and there is no such thing as showing up wrong.
